Through our avid interest in History and in particular Irish-American History, we began researching the decline of the prowess of Irish whiskey as a direct result of Prohibition, we uncovered reams of intriguing information on the existence and purpose of blood tubs during those troubling times.

After previously purchasing casks from various distilleries, it was only a natural progression that we would experiment with our matured casks and introduce the aforementioned blood tubs back into Irish whiskey production
